Three Pilot Colleges

The following Chinese colleges from the building sector in various provinces participate in the project:


Zhejiang College of Construction (ZCC)

ZCC is pilot college for energy management and building automation as well as water/sewage technology.
– more than 8.000 trainees
– Sino-German center for application and dissemination of innovative technologies

Suzhou Institute of Construction and Communications (SICC)

SICC is pilot college for building materials / façade construction.

– 389 teaching and non-teaching staff
– more than 6.000 trainees

Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College (SUCC)

SUCC is pilot college for water/sewage technology.

– 380 teaching and non-teaching staff
– 13.800 trainees

Target Groups

Teachers at construction colleges at the provincial level who will pass on their knowledge to their students. This way, the technical knowledge and skills of young people in VET is secured before their professional life, to increase their chances in the labor market.
